Re: AROS One ABIv11 64Bit Work In Progress
Thanks to the PrBoom port compiled by retrofaza, I have created two small GUIs that will be available in the next version of AROS One 64-bit; these will allow you to run all the versions of Doom listed in the GUIs. One of the GUIs will allow you to launch the four chapters: Doom1, Doom2, Plutonia and TNT. These versions of Doom require WAD files, which must be extracted from the original games and copied into the Doom subfolder. The second GUI, on the other hand, will allow you to launch the ‘Freedm’, ‘FreeDoom1’ and ‘FreeDoom2’ chapters with a single click; these chapters are available on AROS One 64-bit in the Doom subfolder. You can also use the excellent remastered music for Doom and Doom 2 composed by Andrew Hulshult (Music.wad to be copied into the Music subfolder), which can be downloaded from the link below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gcKVlxMOapMY5fLGL6uXnJpxf52H0pzw/view?usp=sharing If the Music.wad file is not present, it will be ignored and you will still be able to play.

Super Trevor Land, a multi-platform game developed in Hollywood and compatible with AROS 64-bit! At the moment, the game runs a bit slowly on AROS, but the developer is working on improving its performance! https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=45872&forum=9

Re: AROS One ABIv0 32Bit Work In Progress
From AI looks like mostly newer devices (which I do not have) Rough dates 2010 AirPrint introduced 2015 AirScan rolling out eSCL (also known as Apple AirScan) is the protocol that came later that AirPrint enables Apple AirPrint-compatible devices to scan documents over a local network. Most modern wireless All-In-One (AIO) printers and multifunction scanners support AirPrint scanning. You can find eSCL/AirPrint-compatible scanners from HP: All modern LaserJet Pro MFP, OfficeJet Pro, and PageWide MFP models feature AirPrint-enabled scanning (eSCL is frequently used on these devices). Canon: The PIXMA and MAXIFY lines feature AirPrint support. Some dedicated consumer scanners also support the protocol. Epson: Most WorkForce Pro and EcoTank multifunction printers use eSCL Brother: Most MFC (Multifunction Center) series models support AirScan/AirPrint Xerox & Ricoh: Many of their office multifunction printers (MFPs) support eSCL

Re: AROS One ABIv0 32Bit Work In Progress
I’ve installed airScanner on AROS One 2.9 and it’s working well – no errors detected. I have a few USB scanners and I’d like to know whether it only works with a network scanner, or whether it works well with a scanner connected locally to a native machine or via a virtual machine. I also assume that you need a device and a driver that are compatible with AROS!

Re: AROS One ABIv0 32Bit Work In Progress
New software developed in Hollywood by Domenico Lattanzi for 32-bit AROS, available on the AROS Archive. With 64-bit AROS via Emuv0, an error occurs if you click on the “Connect” tab. Nuntius is a program for the direct communication between computers (on heterogeneous platforms, also), by sending messages and files through a chat. Communication are made through USB or RS-232 cables. This program is born to be used in conjunction with LoRa devices (Long Range), who is a physical proprietary radio communication technique based on spread spectrum modulation. By using these devices, is possible to communicate wireless with other users (who owns LoRa devices also) at kilometers of distance. This can be useful in several cases: - To communicate in emergency situations, if an Internet connection normally available is out of service - To communicate in zones not covered by the mobile network - For private communications, avoiding the Internet's dangers

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Thanks. I’ve come across another issue today, albeit a rare one: basically, if you overwrite a file, the Guru appears. However, this has only happened with one file so far; I need to check if it happens with other files as well!

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Midwan has fixes the XAD issue but it will appear in the next release. If not we let him know via the issues on github. https://github.com/BlitterStudio/dopus5/issues/90

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
OK, I’ve tested the fixed version; the memory is now displayed correctly. There are no issues with viewing or copying images, but the bug I reported regarding the Guru error caused by XADOpen remains (it works fine on the 32-bit version). As for the settings, there are no issues; in the build, I’ve replaced the default settings with my own (which are more comprehensive for the file types to be managed).

Re: AROS One Support, Tips And Requests
Thank you. Regarding the latest games you’ve ported to 64-bit, I’m attaching the Aros One-style icons for “SuperTux”, “CaveStory” and “SuperTux”.

Hi, https://github.com/BlitterStudio/dopus5/issues/128 at the end of this thread (take care as it might overwrite stuff you might have setup already) and yeah what inside hardware to see if there are any more information we can learn

Re: AROS One Support, Tips And Requests
@AMIGASYSTEM The Soliton game in AROS One 1.3 is broken; the clubs cards aren't displaying correctly, making it impossible to play. I've uploaded a fixed version to the archives: https://archives.arosworld.org/?function=showfile&file=game/card/soliton.x86_64-aros-v11.zip

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Could you please provide a link to download the correct version so that I can test it? Thanks By ‘NATIVE’, I think you mean the hardware being used If you’re using AROS One 1.2 64-bit, I’d recommend installing version 1.3, which includes numerous fixes and improvements!

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Hi, I am using a slightly newer experimental beta one as midwan fixed the dopus5 screen title bar so that memory figures are correct and the time / date now shows I am still using an older 1.2 64bit. I am also using AMD hardware so I am expecting to be different from all others like Intel. I wonder what NATIVE version Nikos is using?

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
I don’t think there are any differences between native hardware and VMware; I usually don’t find any differences, but I’ll run a test to check. The version of Dopus5 v101 I’m using is the same as yours, i.e. the one from GitHub (there are no other versions). I tested the default settings instead of my own, and PNG images as well as other image formats are displayed and copied correctly. Which operating system are you using? Please note: with Dopus5, if you click on images via their icons, these are associated with the operating system’s defaults and will use the tool set in Tooltypes (on Aros One 32-bit, the tool is set to ‘PixieView’, whilst on Aros One 64-bit it is ‘Multiview’) If, however, you click on images in ‘Details’ view in Dopus5, Dopus5 will use the tool set in FileTypes and ignore the tool set in Tooltypes. The same applies to other file types; for example, archives opened via the icon will be extracted by ZuneARC, whilst those opened in the details view will be extracted by XADOpen.

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Hi, Thanks, very weird as I cannot do any of that. Are you using your own compiled or 5.101 from the github? PNG works on Aros 32bit and I did not set that up so expected the same on Aros 64bit. I using on AMD native which could explain a lot from VMware. Midwan is testing on a VM as well, so thought a native install may be different. Appears it might be.

Re: Dopus5 Magellan v5.101 AROS version 32/64Bit Released
Jeff1138, I don’t have the issues you’ve reported regarding the display of PNG images and copying to RAM (see my attached video); there are probably issues with your Dopus5 configuration! I’ve attached a video: my 64-bit Dopus5 doesn’t have those problems; I’m using my own custom configuration! https://youtu.be/HEdd_YMqDgM
@AMIGASYSTEM - Nikos, what instability have you encountered? If the issues are different from those I’ve encountered or those reported on GitHub, please report them to the developer: https://github.com/BlitterStudio/dopus5/issues
My time is limited but I will try to do that.
