After more then a year in development the final migration release of ABIv11 is here!

The release contains code contributed directly to ABIv11 as well as code synchronized from ABIv1 repository. I would like to thank all authors of changes: Kalamatee, Neil, JohanG, Telematix, Deremon, retrofaza, bsek, aros-sg, Ivan G., R.Shaw, ronybeck, DerThore.

I would also like to thank all the people who contributed their time by testing development builds and providing feedback: ntromans, AMIGASYSTEM, Amiwell79, Neil, Jeff1138, farox, Deremon, sonountaleban, laiosx, Korban. Special thanks go to @retrofaza who over last 17 months has been working in the background and tirelessly testing different elements of system on his hardware farm.

Question from the archive: Does SDK-202609-any-x86_64 need to be integrated into AROS-202609-pc-x86_64, or is it already included?

The SDK needs to be integrated into the base system build.

SDK is composed from elements of base and contrib. My suggestion would be: apply contrib on top of base, then apply SDK on top of that (overwritting files).

Deadwood, just like with the DX builds, what should I do about GRUB and the boot file (upper and lowercase)?

Keep in mind that if you try to update AROS One with the new AROS One build, it won't boot!

Does the new AROS One have to be built using the new build?

Just seen this (I've been kept busy for the last week and a bit getting my youngest ready for university); great news Smile Once I've re-installed Linux (my Linux install decided to destroy itself a couple of weeks ago...) I'll get this downloaded, burnt to iso and installed.
