In principle yes
it would require a adapted distribution. For example I have included whdload and use aros roms to replace the amiga roms, what works with the majority of slaves very well. But of course this not works on a RPi with emu68 because no chipset, in opposition to pistorm. So yes I would be interested in it.
Short term I will update my 3.1 edition too and then see where I go next. Also Aros is not standing still and a lot of activity on 68k too, what will require updates again. Who knows what future brings...
But a 68k Aros edition running on RPi would be cool. It would offer the chance to get access to new users outside the typical amiga bubble

12 days agoWe are not there yet, but my roadmap is:
1) aros kernel booting aros setup
2) aros kernel booting aos setup
3) have chipset support (that will be a long run development), and whdload setup is my target env.
About have a full sdcard image i dont know how to accomplish it (cause of the fixed image size)
But The idea is having the basic pi booting files and boot whatever you put of amiga/aros setup.
So IF it works the idea is to work with any setup that you give to it (files spreaded over a fat fs, like aarch64, or as a nested rdb)
Dunno how would be the prefered approach for distro mainteners.
The idea of an image that can be burned, the partitions layout, and the install/setup procedures, all of this i think would be best decided by the mainteners. The structure of the boot will be the same emu68 style layout. (It is just a minor patched emu68 version plus an aros.elf file load)
Lets see how this evolves, but that is the plan so far.
