Looks like IntelGMA is mostly restored. I briefly tested 2D and 3D on Dell Latitude D520 - at least the basics seem to work.

Been waiting for this Grin
Working great Deadwood!! Tested on same Laptop as you have Grin

Have to make a video soon about this great news.

WiFi with Atheros also works now so things get really interesting now with AROS 64-bit and in general!

Great work!!

I've been hoping you'd do the test Grin

Glad it works for you. Please do make videos! We need to spread the word and get more people to use AROS - after all migration to 64-bit is almost complete.

Is the Intel GMA driver available for download separately or what files do I need to extract from the attached ISO? I just installed AROS One 64bit (Latest available) but doesn't seem to work on my Dell Latitude D520.

You need to copy DEVS:Monitors/IntelGMA (and IntelGMA.info) from the attached ISO.

If it still doesn't work, then please just boot the attached ISO to confirm everything else is fine.

That did the trick, thank you! Network + Video + Sound all working fine. System seems more stable than it has ever been. Using AROS One 1.3 64bit.

I guess the question below is more for Amigasystem but is there a reason why the "restart the computer" shuts it down instead of actually restarting? "Restart AROS" hangs the system completely, resulting into a power down by power button.

It’s not a problem with AROS One 64-bit; ‘Restart Aros’ doesn’t work properly on AROS 64-bit. In fact, ‘Restart’, ‘Reboot’ and ‘Shutdown’ all behave in the same way.

On AROS One 32-bit, the commands mentioned work fine.

Well that explains it. Thank you for the clarification.

Please keep in mind that 'Shutdown' 'Restart' and 'Reboot' depend on hardware configuration you have and on drivers. Even on same hardware using, one driver vs another (for example VESA vs native), can cause different behavior. I have multiple testing hardware configuration where these functions work correctly and some hardware where they don't.
