Yes, as soon as I finish optimizing the code, I plan to restore the RTF loading and saving capabilities that were available in the previous version. Next, I'll try to tackle the DOCX format, but I can't promise anything, as it's supposedly a lot of work. If Final Writer's format is text and not binary (I don't know yet), I'd like to support that as well.
New version 0.6 released. I've added resize and RTF import and export. Import is still imperfect, but it should handle documents without images. The link is the same.
When I export a DOCX file, I get an error – see the attached screenshot!
Importing RTF (with multiple pages) doesn’t work, It takes a long time to open an RTF document
I have attached a test RTF document; it takes a long time to open, and only the first page is displayed
The export error indicates a missing unpacking plugin. I'll fix it tomorrow. Regarding your test rtf file, it contains tables, which Slovo doesn't (yet) support. Hence the long parsing time and the significantly different result from the original. I'm actually surprised Slovo even read the table contents. I envision this as a simple text editor. I'll try to expand its text capabilities and maybe add image embedding, but tables are a different story. I'm afraid that even if they could be programmed, Hollywood would take a very long time to process them. In any case, in the current version, I suggest testing text documents without tables and images. Attached is what was loaded into Slovo from your RTF file. I believe it's the entire text, but without the table, it fits entirely on one page.
How difficult would it be to implement syntax highlighting like Scintilla does? Your text editor could be something like Notepad++ as far as being more than a simple editor.
For the Amiga I use Turbo Text as a text editor. I really like that one! Nice features. Although it could be better.
I use Scintilla Text Editor (SciTE) on Windows & Linux. For AROS I use the Text Editor, Jano Editor? It has the keyboard shortcuts for copy/paste and goto line. That is convenient. But it doesn't offer syntax highlighting and it messes up the indentation.
Already Slovo Editor has some of the planned features of the old project "Cinnamon Writer". It's very promising. I look forward to using it.

@miker
Once I had interest writing a simple but powerfull editor for aros , Named after my twins TwinsIDE ,
And I was progressing well than AmiSSL landed on my table and arSFSDoctor , To be fair I even forgotten about TwinsIDE project .
Now days I have less coding time and alot to do, maybe one day if I free myself from my multiple ongoing projects than I love to go back and finish off TwinsIDE..
