Hello,
Is there the USB audio devices support on AROS 64 bit? I gave a quick try attaching my Focusrite Scarlett Solo but on Trident I see it doesn't work (Unsupported audio class spec v2 error).

Hi,

Since Nik added rt isoch to usb3 and others at the same time as usb3, I assumed it would but never checked it.

I know on RPi midi is not matched with the right class yet. So assume it might be with usbaudio on x64?

You would have to test mainline(ABIv1) AROS for that.

USB stuff is being synchronizes between ABIv11 and ABIv1. There will be an updated to USB in upcoming D05. Try the ABIv1 nightly and let me know if your card works with it. If it works with it and doesn't with D05, I made and error somewhere. If it does not work with ABIv1, please post a bug report to ABIv1 bugtracker (https://github.com/aros-development-team/AROS/issues). Kalamatee has been working on usb audio in recent days.

Hi,

Slightly off topic on the RPi cm3 it is detected if the usb audio device is already plugged into a usb port and directed to ahi but maybe usb2otg does not support this so far?

Cheers, definitely I'll try this soon, just I was wondering whether that audio interface was fine on AROS. Ok, I'll wait for that D05 and then try it again.
By the way, is there a kind of CD live distribution (ISO file, of course) for those ABIv1 nightly builds? Otherwise, I'll have to buy a "new" HD to install, isn't it?

Not sure I understad? When you get ABIv1 nightly from: [url]https://aros.sourceforge.io/nightly1.html[/url| it is a LiveCD bootable ISO. Boot it in VBox/QEMU/VMWare and install it to pendrive and you have your "second HDD" Wink

Ah okay, from that website, I thought it was related to the 32-bit/older/alt AROS distributions (like PPC). I meant an ISO file that I can run on my native AROS machine, I tested the Focusrite on that machine.

These nightly ISOs are conceptually the same as my developer builds D01... etc. If my build works on your hardware it's almost guaranteed that ABIv1 build will work as well. If it does not, check first if it runs in VM - it might be that you got unluckly and download a broken nightly.
