Would anyone be willing to compile JanusUAE for v11 64bit, the sources are available on Aminet, I tried to compile it but the sources are set to run on Linux!
Is there any way to make the 'Makefile' created for Linux compatible to run on native AROS?
The demo uses OpenGL. In the absence of native drivers (which is the case right now) it uses a software renderer. As far as I know, not on every processor does the software renderer work (but here Deadwood would have to comment on the details).
On my computers I can't confirm the guru, on mine the demo runs well everywhere (VBox, VMWare, Qemu, Linux hosted).
Retrofaza, Native mode probably works on your VMs, but it doesn't work on mine. I get the same error as Boy, so you must have a supported PC or video card!
Here the shots from my PC with AROS 64bit (boot safe mode 1).
Unfortunately if i press "more" on the message of crash the PC freeze completely.
Attached the shot of Showconfig and the complete report of PCI Tool (if usefull).
I just ported DirectiryOpus to 64 but it refuses to find dopus5.library, compiling went smoothly with ULONGS changed to IPTR , Dopus5 is my way of searching ,copy, move etc and without I can not port my other ports to 64, someone please cross compile Dopus5 for 64bit arosv1.
