AROS 64-bit Nightly build Testing

New nightly booted fine on both the HP i5 and HP AMD laptops. Most software looks to be working well aside from lbreakout crashing - is this a known one? If not the error report is below. No change with OWB from previous report (no Google or bbc on either machine, '1' behaviour on AMD). However, on the i5 (wifi, realtek8180.device) loading of pages from AROSworld did seem to be faster.

Cheers,
Nigel.

P.S. still no luck with teh ASUS B85M-E i7 motherboard; it's still restting ahortly after selecting the boot option in GRUB.

P.P.S. I just powered up my Core 2 duo desktop and runnign teh 64 bit release from back in July which I know could access google, youtube etc. back them and found it too can't load them now! Really weird, espacially as 32 bit is still working fine.

With WMware Native, no problems with ‘ScreenGrabber’ to save screenshots in PNG with this new build, see screenshot!

Even LunaPaint with this new build saves JPG and PNG images correctly!

MysticvView is not working for me with this release (64 bit native, i5 processor, VESA graphics).

Cheers,
Nigel.

On VMWare MysticView, it does not work in either VESA or VMWare SVGA, confirming previous report.

Thanks good and expected. Programs under AxRuntime should behave the same way as on AROS.

Just has a crash using Editor (please see below). I had two tabs open and was tyring to load anothe rfile. I'd also just saved the preferences (changed screen colour to white and set a larger font).

Cheers,
Nigel.

The Jano Editor crash, although rare and random, has always occurred in all 64-bit builds.

A known issue on native PCs, no problem on VMs. OWB + Google works perfectly.

There is a new Nightly build which I would like to ask you to re-test.

https://build.axrt.org/download/builds/AROS-ABIv11/pc-x86_64-20250930-031356.tar.gz

Please read this post https://www.arosworld.org/infusions/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=1707#post_9254 before proceeding.

History:
- integrated ~110 changes from Kalamatee and Bo Stale from August-September period

Areas to test:
- in general there should not be any booting/hardware related changes in this build, so only retest MUI applications and new functionality
- Wanderer: new lasso selection behavior
- Zune: adding support for rounder frames
- Shell: copy/paste menu
- Change expected location of .prefs in Themes from root to Env-Archive/ subdirectory
- Extended theming with control over title bar area, check Darkness theme for examples
- NList now uses NBitmap class
- updates: cybergraphics.library, con-handler, tiff.datatype, FTManager, muimaster.library, C:Decoration
- new: font.datatype, zstd.library, lzma.library
- fixes: diskfont.library, dos.library

Note: This should be the last batch of large integration work. After that I'm planning to look into "google serch" network issue and work on official update.

I ran a few quick tests with this new build!
The crash in Zune prefs (NListtree) is still present:

https://github.co...issues/217

Tested font.datatypes, now you can preview bitmap fonts using Multiview from Wanderer/Dopus4, too bad TrueType fonts are not supported.

On AROS 64, to preview TrueType fonts, you could compile the Viewiso tool. I tried to compile it but was unable to do so. !

https://archives....6-aros.zip

Regarding Zune: adding support for rounder frames, I tried to round the top bar of the window, but the transparency does not work (replaced by black). Perhaps I did something wrong?

Excellent Shell: copy/paste menu, now you can load multiple clipboards.

I did not quite understand what is meant by ‘Wanderer: new lasso selection behaviour’.
