Hi,

Yes, with the V155 it is the same as the last iso, get to the aros banner and acpi tables but after that changes to blank screen and stays there but this time with constant flashing led on usb stick, it is possible I have to wait a very very long time to boot into Aros?

Yes, 7010 boot ok with usb2 slot and option A.

V155 - no I don't think so. You should at least see two lines from xHCI -> one describing ports you have and the other showing the interrupt that was assigned to xHCI. If they are not showing, then something else is still not working correctly on your config.

Hi,

See these lines about ports and interrupt on both machines so I suspect like the 7010 it does not detect the filesystem on the usb and so the V155 keeps flashing led trying to it find it. Would this be the problem?

Hard to say, but I guess it's some sort of edge case that I didn't detect on my hardware. Try this: boot option C on DELL 7010 and insert a FAT pendrive into USB3 slot. Is the pendrive mounted? If yes, run 'psddevlister topology' from Shell. Is the disk assigned to Superspeed root hub? If yes, then the problem most likely is some edge case scenarion. I have one AMD machine and maybe when I got it to work, it will also fix your issues.

Hi

Picture trying to take during startup of V155, will try the above

Ok, I see something here that is suspicious. Do you have any other USB devices plugged in? If yes, then remove them. If no, then somehow your device was detected as low speed and this causes the error as the devices trasmitted more data than it "should". The pendrive that you are using - is it USB2 or USB3 pendrive? Can you try another pendrive?

DELL 7010 -> Looks like there is still some bug in the code that this specific chipset is hitting or that chipset needs to special handling. Don't have any hardware right now that behave like that.

Hi,

I have an unpowered usb2 hub with wireless dongles on which I removed. Dell 7010, tried again with another usb3 drive, booted iso in dvd drive, install to usb3, all OK. Boot with usb3 flash drive in usb3 port, assigned ports and ints but afterwards waiting on media so will not boot to Wanderer.

Ok, then at least we know that it's the initial phase that is causing issues. Try one more thing (DELL 7010). Boot with usb3 flash drive in usb3 port and add bootdelay=10 kernel argument in grub. Maybe some more delay is needed for AROS to be able to read partitions on this machine.

I have you system noted down as "restarts right after grub with USB2". I expect the same is happening with USB3.

I can confirm that selecting USB2 in Grub gives the same result as USB3

Then there has to be something else. I'll let you know if I came across similar issue and fix it.
