I don't understand. Do you mean that you updated your installation and after the when you download using Odyssey your browser freezes?

This ISO has exactly the same stack as I shared separatelly a few days ago. Please check downloading different files from different servers.

Right now I'm downloading a file and so far everything's fine. I'll try other files. Everything happened after installing the contrib package content, but anyway I'll check it more carefully.

Hi,
Vmware workstation player 17.6.1

These are just suggestions, and if you don't find them interesting, please delete them. My message is in a constructive spirit.

GENERAL
- too much "about" in wanderer right clic menu
- theme arosdefault is not default
- theme arosdefault very heavy with window background
- theme arosdefault window menu: add close with X on the right window
- theme xstreams and aros default must be 1. X red to close window on the right

PREFS
- Appearance, Wanderer, Zune -> same area. Maybe 1 pref?
- some prefs name are incomprehensible, is possibile rename? ahi-> audio, trident-> usb, icontrol??, PSI??

TOOLS
- Quickpart and hdtoolbox same thing? maybe 1 app?
- Boingiconbar not starting -> very sad. Maybe autostart add boot?
- wimp??

USABILITY
- owb or another browser not present
- app store to find, download and install app not present

I did a clean installation with all the updates, not the contrib package, but the problem still persists, especially when I download at a higher speed

Ok, thanks for the screenshot. So I assume all tabs are not responding but AROS itself is not crashing - correct?

I will need some more information:

Does the download continue and you see progress of download? The screen shot would suggest that.
What happens when download finishes? Does Odyssey "restore" itself?
Are you downloading to RAM? If not, to which disk are you downloading? SATA, IDE, USB?
Try to see what happens when you download to RAM:

no, the system doesn't crash, it's just the browser. now I'm trying to download into RAM: before I used to download to a partition on my HD in sfs

the situation doesn't change even if I dump it into RAM
