OK solved, I copied the Development folder of AROS v11 64 Native to AROS v11 64 Hosted Linux and the compilation of ProTrekkr v2.8.3 PRE 2 was successful.
I had created the ISO and the USB image but had to delete them, I found some Bugs that I think are important and make the distribution unstable.
The first one concerns the Def_Icons, if you set a higher stack for some application, the system on reboot, when it adds an icon, it will have a default stack and not the one set in the def_Icons, see screenshot.
Another problem is on MPlayer, it goes guru with some audio formats see screenshot !
I also noticed that many applications compared to the 32Bit version require a higher stack.
The fact that 64-bit application require higher stack is expected - they store more data on stack as pointers are 2x larger.
With regards to MPlayer crashing on certain formats, I'll look into this after getting next stable version of Odyssey.
As for your first report - I can't confirm that. I change the stack on def_Text and after reboot a text file (which does not have a separate icon) has the stack the same as def_Text - so everything works as expected, see screen shot.
Edit: specifically for MP3 not that there are two def icons - def_MP3 and def_MP3ID3.

Yes I know, on AROS One each file type has its own def_icons, there are no duplicate icons, I probably have some conflict, as you can see from my screenshot the same identical icon has a different stack.
Consider that on AROS One 32Bit the problem does not exist, both use the same def_icons and descriptors.
From the last test I found that the fault lies with Wanderer which does not store the new Stack on the def_icons even though it shows the new value set, if instead I change the stack of the def_icon with Dopus4 then the Def_icon will show the new value.
I'll try again at ISO now, maybe something got corrupted, I'll let you know.
Solved, distraction error/horror, by mistake I had 2 ‘SYS’ folders one in ‘Prefs/Env-Archive/SYS’ and one in ‘Prefs/SYS’
Basically, the changes I made to the def_icons in “Prefs/Env-Archive/SYS” were ignored, while the system used and displayed those in the “Prefs/SYS” path unchanged
release the ISO so I can recompile AmiSSL, I am actually working multiple projects atm, I will recompile every app, tool when I get hold of new gcc with arosone64..
Just to say AROS 64 bit installed very smoothly fom CD to the hard-drive on my HP desktop :-). Audio is working fine (cmi8738.audio) as is ethernet (rtl8169.device), USB and SATA. Native Gallium graphics does not work but I presume that is as expeted at this time? It was great to see HDtoolbox worked flawlessly preparing the hard drive and I'm looking forwards to trying OWB 64 bit on it!
