@AMIGASYSTEM - serk118uk, I also tested yesterday's version, and the error is the same.

In the message "Copy libraries and run (example usage below)
Httpget_simple," you included a link to scummvm-2026!

Anyway, with Httpget_simple, I get this error message:

Redownload th archive from github and retest unfreed signal error should be gone. Httpget_simple should download file ok

I downloaded the archive, but it's the same as yesterday's, so nothing has changed!

Was it vmware or native real aros?

I updated your distro with nighty than I had gab been very busy with life and not touched AmiSSL for while than I got myself back into but I must mess my distro , works here fine , sourcecode at github , you caN compile I already handled aros side so it should compile , mean time I am going to wait until you update your distro for fresh start so we have same distro so we now what to expect when we run amissl or other tools

I tested AmSSL on VMware with AROS One updated to the latest build. Where did it work well for you?
I compile on native AROS, so I think it's impossible to compile.

@AMIGASYSTEM
I have makefile I can link here if you want to try to compile, I repushed new .library and httpget_simple without any linux internals like liver,kidney left inside the library, redownload and it should work , amitranslation should run without any crash too,

I’m getting the same errors on Amitraslate; even when compiling in ‘Native’ mode, I’m getting the same errors:

@AMIGASYSTEM

Its big project , compiling on aros itself may take hours or even more , I am progressing fixing i refreshes download link and on my side httpget_simple does download with your distro under vmware , AmiTranslte does not crash anymore because i am fixing using AmiTranslate as my test run. Time to time download and try , i am actually waiting for your new distro update since my aros is bit mix match, I have been working on AmiSSL 5.27 on and off over 3 months and i am sure i will fix every crashing part bit by bit and time just never enought tho.

Download latest working AmiSSL 5.27 library from https://github.co...missl-aros
Httpget_default and httpget_simple can download files like aget now.

AmiTranslate recompiled and updated to use latest AmiSSL 5.27 libraries.

Backup your old AmiTranslate and copy new build from download to where your AmiTranslate/ folder.

I tested , hosted,vmware and real aros. Using last arosOne distro and no crashes so fixed.

Let me know if there any crashes or glitches..

Where can I download the new recompiled version of AmiTranslate?
I still have Guru with the old version of AmiTranslate.

AmiTranslate attached here, you still need to download libraries from my github , httpget_default.httpget_simple in same archive.

Btw you must paste your key file in same folder see .key file .

------
GETTING A DEEPL API KEY
-----------------------
AmiTranslate needs a DeepL API key to translate. Get a free one at:
https://www.deepl... (choose "API Free"Wink

HOW TO GIVE AMITRANSLATE THE KEY (no rebuild needed)
----------------------------------------------------
1. Place an AmiTranslate.info icon tooltype:
DEEPLKEY=your-api-id:fx
(window title will show "<custom API Key>" when read at startup.)
OR
2. Use the deeplkey.key file (preferred, keeps the key out of the binary):
- Open AmiSSL/tools/deeplkey.key in an editor.
- The file is a PLACEHOLDER. DELETE the placeholder line and type your
real key on ONE line, exactly as shown below, then save:
DEEPLKEY-********xx-****x-****x-****x-****************:fx
- Leave the file in the SAME folder as the AmiTranslate executable
(e.g. PROGDIR:deeplkey.key).
The key is read at runtime only - it is NOT compiled into the binary, so
your key is never shared in any download.

Key priority: deeplkey.key file (same folder) > icon DEEPLKEY tooltype
> compiled placeholder.
