It's a side effect of a program (Wanderer) being slow at repainting "damaged" areas in simple refresh windows. When window operations cause areas of simple refresh windows to become visible - when they were formerly hidden - they need to be repainted by the program.

Wanderer is slow at repainting, because as said there was some change in iconlist class that moved stuff from muim_setup to muim_show and that caused icons of a drawer window that is being resized to be constantly reloaded from disk. If it did not do that then you would mostly not see much of "this problem with Opaque", except on very slow machines.[/quote]
