Ok, glad it worked. The error requester is there, but what I noticed is that sometimes the system enters double-fault and freezes when trying to display it. I'll eventually find out the cause and fix it.
Is there a new specific way to add the contrib files to the original installation? I used to be able to just copy the entrire content over from contrib to the SYS: volume but now when I do that, and reboot AROS, it get stuck at missing arguments on ifs, etc.
In short, it won't successfully boot into aros anymore. So, my question is, what is the proper way to add contrib files?
Try removing all files from Prefs/Env-Archive/SYS/Packages and see if that restores the boot. If yes, you can then debug which package is causing this.
amigamia I did a test on the fly, copied the Contrib to the reference Build, created the ISO, and everything booted regularly, see screenshot ! no problem with the Prefs/Env-Archive/SYS/Packages
Check that the Startup-sequence is not corrupted, or if there is any other corruption after unpacking both Build and Contrib, I on PC used WinRAR
Amigamia, if you like, send me your system so I can check it too!
I never copy everything; first, I clean up the contribution. On Windows, I created scripts to delete what is not necessary, removing all icons, configuration files that could modify Aros One, and files located in paths other than Aros One.
All this is to speed things up. Before, cleaning up manually took me half a day, but now it takes a few seconds.
These are very simple commands for deleting and moving files that are customized only for AROS One; they would certainly not work for other distributions.
Of course! All I was trying to ask was for an easy installer where someone who is new to AROS can install the contrib files and perhaps build checks if it is AROS plain or AROS One, or whatever. I didn't mean for you to use your scripts as they are for other distributions.
I think, the more we make AROS experience a "push button, get banana" experience the more people will enjoy using it.
If you need the scripts (.bat), I can attach them for you. Just copy the contents of Contrib into the “UPdate” folder and run the various batch files.
The various batch files are not suitable for other distributions, only AROS One 68k/32/64.
01 Pulizia-Icons.bat -> Deletes all existing icons in Contrib
02 System.bat -> Deletes files from the System folder because they have been moved to other locations
03 Tools.bat -> Moves all applications “except Comodity” to different locations
04 Pulizia-dati.bat -> Deletes files that have been modified on AROS One to avoid overwriting
05 Pulizia-demos.bat -> Deletes all demos that do not work or guru
Using the cick to front commodity, this does not work if clicking on a window titlebar. It does work if you click elsewhere in the window. For information, I have this set to two clicks.

Can you compare this with AmigaOS 3 ClickToFront? Maybe that's the expected behavior in your scenario.

ClickTo front works for me when I click on the bar, and it also works well on OS3!
I'm reporting a problem with the “Delete file” request sia su 32 che 64Bit.
If you try to move it, the request multiplies with fictitious copies, see screenshot
Well, click to front is definitely not working in the window bar on my real-hardware installation; it does work on 32 bit and as mentioned it is how OS3 behaves. I have changed the theme; I'll try some others and see if that makes any difference.
Cheers,
Nigel.
