Hi,

I had googled "configure linux hosted aros networking" and tried to use those instructions. I used the steps that you linked to and have a successful connection now. I downloaded OWB from AROS Archives and it is working great. Thanks! Very fun and satisfying.

bsdsocket.library is not a physical library; the message indicates that you do not have a network connection!
How did you configure the network on the Linux side and on the AROS side?

This link contains a guide on how to configure the network on AROS Hosted Linux.

Hi,

I'm using Linux hosted AROS (AROS-20250313-linux-i386-system) and just set up networking. I used the ping command (ping google.com) and got an error saying bsdsocket.library version 3 could not be found. I checked the LIBS: directory and the libs folder in AROS-20250313-pc-i386-contrib but it wasn't in that either. I also checked AROS Archives and Aminet but it wasn't there. Does anyone know where I can find this library? Thanks.
