AMIGASYSTEMDistro MaintainerScale2x-GUI v1.0 is a lightweight and intuitive graphical interface for the Scalex and Scalerx scaling tools,
designed for AROS 64-bit, AROS 32Bit and AROS 68k
The interface is clean and well-organized: everything you need is just a few clicks away. The ability to save settings (language, scale factor, tool, options, and paths) makes everyday use very convenient.
The progress bar and clear information about original and final image dimensions provide immediate user feedback. Support for 6 languages makes it accessible to an international audience.
Scalex and Scalerx (I've compiled them for AROS 64-bit and AROS 68k; the 32-bit version already exists)
will be available on the AROS archive, even separately.
Scale2x, Scale3x and Scale4x are real-time graphics effects able to increase the size of small bitmaps
guessing the missing pixels without blurring the images.
They were originally developed for the AdvanceMAME project in the year 2001 to improve the quality
of old games running at low video resolutions.
After testing, both software programs will be available on Aros Archive!
