AirPrint is a driverless system. It works by converting a document or image into a special raster format that all AirPrint-enabled printers understand (over 95% of currently manufactured network/Wi-Fi printers are AirPrint-compatible).

Interesting! I'm not familiar to Airprint printers; do you still need a printer driver on the computer for that specfic printer or can you just send straight across PDFs, jpgs etc?

Cheers,
Nigel.

He surprised us. He wrote a printing system for the Amiga using modern Airprint printers and shared the sources on GitHub. We managed to modify them so that they compile for AROS. Since I'm most interested in Raspberry Pi support right now, the first supported AROS is aarch64 Smile
Here's the repository with the MintPrint 1.2 source code:

and binaries for Raspi: https://amiga.icu/file/MintPrint.lha
