@Jeff1138 - Hi,

Thanks for OpenSWOS on pi seems to run fine with amiga whdload lha copied via DOpus5 and Logitech F310 joypad. Only options I have available. Not tried online as not good enough.
Does not disrupt playing but from time to time colours on single screens seem off but not sure if that is the SD card playing up. Perhaps others could confirm?

Thanks! Unfortunately for now I have to rely on reports from others. I have not seen issues with the colors in my tests so far.

Release time:
If you are not already using it, I recommend using arospkg: https://github.com/tomaszstaniak/arospkg

1. Lightcraft: (x86_64)
apkg update
apkg install lightcraft

or: https://github.com/tomaszstaniak/aros-lightcraft/releases

2. OpenSWOS (x86_64 and Raspi)

apkg install openswos

or

https://github.com/tomaszstaniak/aros-swos/releases/tag/v0.1.0-rc1-pi1
https://github.com/tomaszstaniak/aros-swos/releases/tag/v0.1.0-rc1

Raspi isn't tested, so don't hesitate to report bugs. OpenSWOS requires original files from Sensible Soccer.

Thanks! This confirms that downloading, verification and installation succeeded on your Pi. Please also try apkg open folio, launch Folio and open a PDF.

Which dated AROS build are you using? That will help me compare your successful setup with the other user’s checksum failures.

I updated my piAROS installation with the October 21st nightly update (SMP version), and the folio installation problem disappeared. I have the folio installed in SYSPfftackages Smile
Interestingly, however, after installation, the Folio icon was a Project icon. Even more strange was that after copying it to RAM, the icon changed to Tool. Now I have Tool, but when I double-click it, the program doesn't open immediately, only the "Execute Command" requester.

@miker1264 - Thanks to Kalamatee for all that he does! He has greatly improved AROS both increasing stability, portability to other hardware platforms and by adding modern functionality.

How about CadCraft ? It would be nice to see 3d vector apps that are compatible with AutoCAD running on AROS. FilmCraft would be useful for Video Editing.

Where can we download the ArtCraft Apps for AROS? I'm interested in trying them out.

Use apkg or pkgmanager (recommended):

Closing the loop.

With the joint effort by many who work on AROS and the work started by Kalamatee, it was possible to put 5 apps together: Photocraft, PDFCraft, Wordcraft, Deckcraft and Gridcraft

@Amiwell79 - I am a regular user, I have been using AROS for a long time. Currently, I am having fun with an i386 netbook. There is a lot of software, but not of the caliber of the programs you are bringing. I also have a Xeon workstation for x86_64, but I will continue using my little toy. I know the future is x64 and ARM. Thanks anyway, AROS is my main hobby. I have health problems and I don’t do much in my days, but I spend a lot of time with it. Good work.

Thank you Smile

My core interest is x86_64 and ARM, but unless there are technical limitations all the software I work on will eventually get to other architectures. The only ones outside my personal interest are m68k and ppc (sorry folks), but I'll keep publishing the code, so if it's useful and someone else wants to port it to architectures I don't support, be my guest. Feel free to recompile, modify, improve (please, do!).

It would be great to have compatibility for apps between Windows and Linux and Mac OS and AROS with these new programs.

I'm especially interested in WordCraft, PhotoCraft and CADCraft which is supposed to be a clone of AutoCAD. I'm probably going to test CadCraft to see how it compares. I do AutoCAD design work on a daily basis for my job.

I just build myself a newer Dell 5590 laptop with a 1TB nvme SSD so I plenty of room to install Build Systems and additional software.

Anyhow. It seems we are entering a new era where software is more easily written and freely available.

Yes, I had a look yesterday on Wordcraft and since I have the Rust + Photocraft it's the natural next step and within my interest. Just a matter of time and sequence.

ARM is a priority I just lack the hardware to test and I need a moment to finish setting up Macaros. But all apps go for ARM.
