I am not a developer but out of personal need, I created a MultiOS GUI for Qemu (Emulator and Virtualiser), all this was possible thanks to the automated scripts created with the freeware programme AutoIt v3.

Through the GUI it is possible to create Virtual HardDisks (HardFiles), install or boot the Operating Systems, AROS, AMiGA OS4.1, MorpOS and MAC OS by simply clicking on the appropriate GUI Icon.

I enclose a small Video showing the booting of the 4 mentioned OS, the systems are not very fast because I used an old DualCore PC with Win7 64Bit, to make the video shorter for some OS I eliminated the system startup waiting time.

Due to some requests from users I have changed the look of my GUI, now the "Buttons have shortened terms and in English.

I developed the GUI a few years ago for my own needs so that I could have all the OSs I normally use for testing at the click of a button.

Initially there was no AROS then I wanted to include it because some users use QEmu to virtualise AROS x86.

Did you made it available somewhere?

No never distributed, although very simple and functional, it is not professional software, I only sent it privately to those who requested it.

Any chance you can share the program? I use QEMU a lot and this would be a fantastic tool to get away from all my .bat files.

Given the requests, I will see if I can create a download package with instructions!

Hi Neflyte49, I am not a developer, but I wanted to create for my own use a GUI where I can test some OS like AROS, OS4.1, MAC OR MorphOS.

I created the GUI with "AutoIt3" scripting language on Windows, to run my GUI you have to follow these steps:

- Copy the contents of my archive to "C:Program Files/QEmu".
- In the archive there are 2 executables "QemuGui-32Bit.exe" and QemuGui-64Bit.exe
- QemuGui must be run as Administrator
- Hardfiles created with "Crea-HD-Q" and "Crea-HD-Q" must be renamed with the suffix "1" e.g. from Aros.img to Aros1.img in order to avoid, after the installation of an operating system, to overwrite it by accidentally clicking on Crea-HD again.
- Hard disks will be created from 4 or 6 GB, see script, but you can create larger or smaller by changing the value in the script.
- ISOs will have to be named according to the scripts, e.g. AROS.iso, MAC.iso etc..
- CD/DVDs may also be used, but in this case the script must be modified.

If you encounter problems describe the type of error, you can test errors by running the Scripts from the Windows command prompt, attach archive QEmu-GUI.zip

"AutoIt3" is a free script which also includes the sources, it would be nice to port it to AROS :)

If you encounter any problems, just ask, and I will see if I can help you!

Depending on your hardware you may need to modify some scripts!

With AROS for example you can increase the RAM, for example if you need to run AROS 64 Bit you will need to set 6GB RAM and use the 64 version of QEmu (qemu-system-x86_64.exe), if on AROS the audio is distorted, edit the script and use the parameter "-device ES1370"

For OS4.1 scripts you can use 2048 GB RAM, for audio in the AHI preferences you should set Device SB128 HiFi 16Bit

For MorphOS, i set 2 Hardfiles are set, one you can share with WinUAE for example, it is used to exchange data with OS3 !
