Hey All,

i messed around with ICaros some time ago -- it seemed limited like the several "new" OSs I have tried in the past, primarily and likely cuz they were beta versions and the such.

now I see this amigaos-ish has evolved into a new era --- time to test.

Wish there was a "how or where to start" page -- to get going...,. but am trying to figure it out.

anyway - just saying "Hi".

Peace..

Hi fred410 and welcome to the forum, if you are interested in AROS One,, HERE on my portal you can find AROS One and all installation methods, you can create a Live Pendrive or use it to install AROS One on a Fixed PC.

In the Link you will find the ISO image to create a DVD and a USB Image to create a Live Pendrive.

if you have used amigaos in the past you will be fine with aros of course there is not the software you find in the mainstream but you could do a dual boot or use it in VM

If you are referring to post I made about pledge, it was an early evaluation of feasibility. Within this scope, no work is being done on porting a new browser.

Thanks All !!

Got the "pendrive" created and working (though no networking on pc i tested,. will test others).... so I will continue poking around for info and hardware support.

BTW - the button/link for "AROS One x86 Tutorial" is broke - gives you "Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist."

Thanks fred for installing AROS One, and thanks for pointing out the problem, this is an old video I had deleted, I replaced it with "Install AROS One x86 Two Partition" which is very interesting.
