Folio PDF is an attempt to bring modern PDF reader (and writer) capabilities to AROS.

It works with PDF 1.x and 2.0. It has a Zune interface, supports searching through the PDF, zoom in/zoom out, annotations with Save and Save As, outline and internal and external link.

Feedback welcome.

Love the readability of it. One think I prefer Google docs to open office is how ease it is to eyes, and yours is also very nice

coffeecat, congratulations! I tested it and it looks great. My question is: is it possible to increase the font size? I did notice, though, that Zoom exists.
If you're on board, Folio will be the official reader for AROS One. Thanks!

Sweet, all this development I'm seeing here is really making AROS a contender for a daily driver ... at least for me

Of course! more than happy to have it everywhere Smile It's built to be used.

There are already some updates, and 0.3.5 (now testing) should be quite fast and stable. Font size is tricky and rarely changed because changing the text size will change the page layout. It's not impossible, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. When I check the magazine view (side-by-side pages), I will likely check out full screen/collapsed margins

Good to hear. I returned to the Amiga ecosystem and picked up AROS because that's what motivates me. I spoke with Jonx today, so I know there are at least two of us, and I hope there are more: The goal is to build up the software and AROS itself so it can serve as a daily driver for more people. A system you can use every day that handles at least 80% of the regular tasks you'd perform on any other operating system. I have my fingers crossed for Chromium and I hope that the port of Skia will help us to update the Odyssey browser.

But let's stay here on the topic of the PDF reader.

v. 0.3.8 is live. Feedback welcome. Especially if you are running it on a real hardware.

Hi,

Works great on a Pi3B native, just wondered if a choice of a slider could be used for display the pages currently showing i.e. between Previous and Next?

The Pages tab should that change / scroll if the main pdf display area moves beyond the first 3 pages?

Odd number pages of pdfs start with a single page but I have a test 2 page pdf attached that still shows on 2 separate pages when the setting for Magazine chosen.

Version 0.4.1 out now.

Includes two of three mentions by @Jeff1138 :
- two-page view starts with the main page
- there's a new jump-to-page, and the sidebar should better show which page is currently active

The slider- I thought about it, but for now I decided not to do it; the horizontal page slider might have issues on longer PDFs.

Available on Github and through apkg:

Of course. What's the point of anyone working on software? Keep it coming.
