Re: AROS Archives - clean up
deadwood on Aros-archive there is an old version of ArosPDF 0.2.32, in the contrib there is version 3.0 http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=utility/text/arospdf.i386-aros.tar.gz http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=utility/text/arospdf-source.tar.gz In the ArosPDF version 3.0 folder included in the contrib, there are obsolete XPDFTools Question what are the XPDFTools in the ArosPDF folder for, can they be deleted? On AROS One the updated XPDFTools full package already exists and can be found in Extras:DOS-Tools On both versions of ArosPDF there is a bug, when you open a PDF file if you move to another window, or resize the AROS PDF GUI, on the Window Bar the path and filename disappears or gets corrupted.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
FlexCat posted on Arosexec is the same archive posted on Aminet in 2016, this is the readme: http://de6.aminet.net/dev/misc/FlexCat-2.18.readme The new FlexCat-2.19 version included in the Contrib, includes the old Readme from verrsion 2.18. I use the new FlexCat-2.19 to create Catalogues on AROS One and it works fine, from the screenshot you can see the version difference and the different compilation date!

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
@Amiwell79 Is there anything special about this upload? I checked AROS repository and FlexCat there had a number of changes which are not present in official repository and are needed to build certain aspects of AROS.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
Amiwell published an older version of FlexCat v2.18 in 'uploads', in the Contrib there is a newer version v2.19 compiled with the C library. http://archives.aros-exec.org/index.php?function=uploads

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
Sorry, I meant that there are source codes available on archives which someone can compile with current SDK and latest GOCR instead of creating UI from scratch.

Re: 504 Gateway Timeout error
Yeah it's not the database or the CMS. It is a shared hosting service which means aria world is not the only site at this address. This is server performance and they are just playing stupid. Time to look elsewhere. I am going to perform an upgradeof the cms soon though. Just to make sure I have used all my options.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
There is already Zune-based gui on the Archives. Why not re-used that with newer version of GOCR?
@amigamia -
@Argo - I keep getting this error " You are barred to post until the flood period cooldown is over. Please wait for now."
That's actually legit from a flood auto-ban but I am wondering why are you getting it? Are you posting really fast? It's there to protect from DoS attacks and spammers trying to flood the forums. There is 30 seconds wait if it happens again. Also, let me know of the situation when it happens, (i.e. what was the action, etc.etc.)
Nope, I only made one comment on one topic yesterday and got that

Re: 504 Gateway Timeout error
I cleared the ngnix web service cache and removed an old site infusion that I wasn't using anymore. I noticed it too that it seems to be working better but I did not want to jump the guns. Thank you for reporting it.
