I managed to compile a simple game with sound using SDL2_mixer. It seems to work fine on hostgl (other than that, I'm not very good at playing it ^^)

Beautiful, but the audio is a bit low!

TBFTSS - The Pandoran War

A pretty cool and complex game. It's fun to play.

Launched on AROS hosted (hostgl).

I'll upload this and the previous game to the Archives today so you can test them out Smile

TBFTSS with VMware Native AROS and VMware Hosted Linux works well.

Super-Haxagon, on the other hand, crashes on both VMware Native AROS and VMware Hosted Linux.

I created AROS One-style icons for TBFTSS and Super-Haxagon. I am attaching the archive here.

@AMIGASYSTEM

Games crash on AROS One 1.1 because the ArosOne1.1 ISO does not have the full U1 update. I compared the files and it looks like you didn't update this ISO before uploading it to the server.

If possible, update this ISO and replace the files on your server.

The icons look great, as always, thanks, good job Smile

The AROS One 1.1 U1 update has been done, I forgot to add only ‘SDK-20250418-1-U1’ to the ISO.

I added ‘SDK-20250418-1-U1’ and Guru continues to appear on WMware!

Hmm, I haven't seen such error before. Hard to say what's the source. I tried it under hosted and it started correctly.

I get the same error when I run Super-Haxagon from VMware+Linux Hosted.

I get the same error with QEmu too.

Can you send me a small ISO where Super-Haxagon works, so I make a comparison?

I just tried running Super-Hexagon with this nightly and it also worked.

Nothing changes, even with your build I get the same error!

I can confirm that Super Hexagon fails on pre-Ivy-Bridge CPUs. It looks like current build requires AVX instructions.

Neverball - another game featuring a ball Wink This time for SDL2.

This game is more complex and generally more polished than TiltNRoll. I like it.

My conclusions from testing SDL2 so far:

- The flags SDL_WINDOW_FULLSCREEN and SDL_WINDOW_FULLSCREEN_DESKTOP do not work.
- Attempting SDL_INIT_JOYSTICK results in an error (Invalid RWops).
- The SDL_GetPerformanceCounter() function does not work.

The lack of fullscreen is particularly annoying. If anyone is able to fix this, we would make significant progress.

retrofaza, could you kindly upload these new SDL2 games you are testing to the archives so that we can test them on Native/WMware as well? Thank you!

I still need to work on these ports a little more before I upload them to the archives, but if you want to test them, go ahead. Here's FBNeo:

Thank you, in the meantime I will prepare the icons for AROS One and attach them here!!

OK, thank you. FBNeo works well with the keyboard on Native and VESA, but I haven't been able to configure the joystick!

I created the FinalBurnNeo and Neverball icons in AROS One style. I'm attaching the archive!
