Re: AROS Archives - clean up
@AMIGASYSTEM - On aros-archive the game "abbayedesmorts.i386-aros.zip" has been added, with the keyboard I can't find the keys to play the game, also you can't exit the game, if you move to wanderer by clicking on the top gadget of the window, on wanderer there are 2 Gurus, one for the stack, and the other for sound.datatypes. On aros-archive there is also an older version of "abbayedesmorts" which work well from the keyboard, no guru and the screen is bigger. http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=audio/abbayedesmorts.i386-aros.zip http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=game/platform/abbaye.i386-aros.zip
Oops I searched aros archives and I couldn't find and I uploaded, game was in my old files and I have played the game using joypad and keyboard without any problems and exits fine so maybe the changes on api playing about.. Anyway delete my compiled version and keep the old one..

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
@AMIGASYSTEM I created a bug report for the_vague_1 and _2. This requires some investigation whether there is no regression here: https://github.com/deadw00d/AROS/issues/118 I also missed your post #3, thanks for point it. Zoomit v0.2, PlayCDDA v1.4 and UnLZX v1.1 have been deleted. As for Zoomit v1.3 and ZuneARC v1.6 if someone uploads them, older versions will be removed.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
@deadwood: the_vague_1 and the_vague_2, the AROS version do not work, causes a System Crash/Guru, tested on old and new builds, the_vague requires ptplay.library and Warp3D.library to work: http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=demo/magazine/the_vague_1.lha http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=demo/magazine/the_vague_2.lha deadwood, in post #3 I had indicated other archives to be deleted.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
But it's so much easier to upload files to AROS Archives than Aminet and the maintainer is nicer. :) I tried to upload to Aminet just last week for my work on the IFF Image Data Decoder for Amiga Glow Icons but it said I need to use an FTP client? So my upload failed. Why? Why not direct upload?? AROS Archives is direct upload. Besides that, even Amiga OS4 has their own depot for file archives.

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
@Deadwood: In my opinion there's really NO need for software repositories other than Aminet. Aminet is here since 1992, it works pretty well, and ir includes software for ALL Amiga flavors. Having other repositories, creates only confusion among users.
@Amiwell79 - deadwood I reloaded the xpdf-gui archive there was an error in it and inserted the tools needed to run the programme thanks
Salvo, in the "Bin" folder did you put the AROS version tools? As I reported to you on the amigapage, this is a problem also found on other developers, who use an incorrect LHA version from other platforms, which does not compact some subdirectories and instead of the directory you find a 0 KB file

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
Yes, on Windows, both WinRAR and 7-Zip unpack the antiryadgx archives correctly, but it is strange that the same errors, and the same files, have the same problem on all three versions of antiryadgx, 4.9, 7.1 and 7.2! I must try recreating the same 7z archive on Windows and then unpacking it on AROS. EDIT: On Windows I recreated a .7z archive with the same files, including those files that did not unzip, and on AROS I had no problem, all the fiules unzipped correctly :)

Re: AROS Archives - clean up
I did a test from the Shell with "7zdec" and "XadUnfile", and both in all antiryadgx.7.z Archives, some files are "ignored" and consequently not unpacked, the errors can be seen in the screenshot. Now I don't know if the problem is those files, or if "7zdec" and "XadUnfile" don't work properly, tested other 7z archives with "7zdec" and "XadUnfile" and everything seems to have worked fine. Also tried RNOArchive, it too detects errors on the same files, manages to unpack them but they are all '0 Byte' files UnARC, on the other hand, behaves like '7zdec' and 'XadUnfile', the files in questine are not unpacked. At this point I think the problem is in antiryadgx.7.z,
